Lessons From Mistakes
Mistakes. We all make them.
We might be leaders, but we are also humans. Not superhuman - just regular old human.
But that doesn’t mean that we should be afraid or ashamed of our mistakes. Don’t look at them
as the end of the world, but rather as the start of a new lesson.
I love this advice from Amy Morin about how we can turn our mistakes into valuable lifelessons. It can help you actually follow through on your declaration that “I’ll never do that again” (which let’s be honest, we often do end up doing again...).
According to Amy, “Each mistake can be an opportunity to build mental muscle and become better”.
How do you learn from mistakes? And what have been some of the most valuable lessons you have learned from them?
P.S. If fear of failure is making you sweat just reading this post, then reach out. Leaders don’t need to languish alone. Send me a message and let’s have a chat about how failure can become your friend.
